Just a few hours ago, our team wrapped up an amazing livestream session featuring experts from multiple organizations and perspectives, and the entire event was focused on AI.
One of the most celebrated quotes of the day?
Humans are people to be served, not problems to be solved.
The audience was SO engaged and interactive, leaving nearly 1,000 comments across all platforms during the session to support, challenge, or discuss key themes and topics. We love the engagement on our virtual sessions! Want to check it out for yourself?
One of the highlights of the livestream was getting to share a portion of a brand new keynote I’ve been working on. I’ve dropped a short segment of it below talking about the six things artificial intelligence cannot do today.
Unlike many the professors, industry “experts,” and other people you’re seeing at some of the HR and tech conferences, this event took a real look at what is happening and what’s possible with AI.

Keynote Panel: AI’s Value to the Role, the Function, and the Business
This closing session with Sandra Loughlin, Chief Learning Scientist at EPAM Systems and Lane McFarland, Vice President of People and Operations at Flashpoint was truly impressive. They each share unique perspectives on what can and will change, the value we can receive from AI when used well, and some specific challenges to common thinking as well.
For instance, when asked, “How would you respond to headlines saying that AI means the end of HR as we know it?” McFarland immediately responded,
“Good… If AI is a tool to elevate our skills… why not make a change?”
AI is here to stay. But we have to put guardrails and protections in place so that it’s used responsibly and ethically overall. We’re thankful to Daxtra for partnering on this session and for their CTO, Don Tomlinson, for his ideas and inputs around responsible AI usage across several talent use cases.
